Seeing these paintings, the first sensation comes from the abundance and the strength of colors, who can even disturb, upset, wonder or shock... But anyway they cannot leave unmoved us. Sometimes behind the mask of the abstract we manage to distinguish little by little one or several bodies, more or less recognizable and minutely analyzed by these uncontrollable colors which try to live together by building a coherent image.

The form, as like excuse, stays initially secondary (series « Autocorpraits »), then becomes semi-abstract with the « Colourings ». What matters, it’s the exploration of colors a priori hard to imagine to coexist. These most probably incompatible colors find their places in a research increasingly laborious with the progress of the work, because the white spots are fewer and fewer, and on the other hand, it is necessary to adapt itself in more and more besides colors. Later, with a told history (Triptych, Cross), the characters find colors reflecting their own personalities.

She turns rather to the universal phenomena, the big day-to-day issues, which can affect every human from the beginning of the times, regardless of his era, concerning the intimity of this fragile being in spite of appearances.

The artist’s intention is to stand out a moment of quiet and calm by the contemplating over colors in this hyperactive, overstrung and very unstable world.
